Golden Ashmont Sterling Silver made by Reed & Barton

Golden Ashmont has a bold linear fluted design. It features a rich 24 karat gold banded highlight. It is also manufactured in the very large heavy weight continental size which thoroughly distinguishes this striking pattern. Classic in origin, it has a contemporary feel that is sophisticated and elegant. Golden Ashmont's cleanly sculpted and richly detailed design will suit your tastes, no matter what your style.
The pattern was first manufactured in the year 1991 by Reed & Barton. The pattern was discontinued in year 2015 and is no longer manufactured. It was only produced for 24 years and was never a very popular pattern.
The pattern is also extremely heavy in weight and it is likely that because of this, there is the likelihood that much of this will be melted down and sent off to the refinery to be converted into silver bars or bullion coins as the price of silver continues to rise.
